Pickhill Engineers Limited is a small family run business specialising in the supply of a full range of quality used generators.

For over 50 years, the Pickhill name was renowned all over the world for the manufacture of the Pickhill, Oxford and Max Arc range of oil cooled welding sets, with a reputation for solid and reliable equipment. We now concentrate solely on generator sales, offering the same honest and dependable service synonymous with the Pickhill name and reputation.

With a continual turnover, our stock changes on a weekly basis but we can offer a full range of machines ranging from 20 kva to 1000 Kva of various voltages. All prices quoted are ex works Pickhill and subject to VAT at the standard rate, but we can offer a competitive price for haulage throughout the UK as we have excellent road communications; being situated in the village of Pickhill in North Yorkshire, just one mile from the A1 midway between Wetherby and Scotch Corner.

We offer a competitive hire service to farmers to meet their grain drying and harvest requirements and Customers return year after year.

As well as our full range of quality used generating sets, we also stock the UK based Mecc Alte tractor driven PTO generators. These are new machines with a full two year factory warranty and a must for dairy and poultry farmers who demand a back up power supply to meet their farm assured status. We stock two models; the 70 and 40 Kva three phase machines which when hard wired to single phase give 45 and 25 Kva single phase respectively.
